Today’s Broadhurst & Whitaker is a restoration and adaptation of this historic building. Modern townhomes sit above refurbished apartments, set back from the street to allow the silhouette of the original facade to be outlined against the sky. The concrete, steel and wood frame homes look out onto a community courtyard and the mature trees lining the sidewalk outside.
